18 Chait, Kathmandu. Terai Madhesh Democratic Party (Tamlopa) led by Vriseshchandra Lal has broken the merger with JSP Nepal.

Last November 24, there was a merger between the Democratic Socialist Party (LOSP), Janata Pragatisheel Party Nepal and Tamalopa. About three weeks after that, the LOSPA and the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal came together.

Ravi Shankar Kumar Karn, the leader of Tamalopa, said that Tamalopa has woken up. He said, ‘We went for party unity. We are active in the capacity of Tamalopa, we are being registered with the commission.’

A leader of Tamalopa said that after the leaders of JSP Nepal and LOSPA did not fulfill their promise to unify the party, they had to revive the old party. The leader said, ‘Leaders ignored institutional values, political dignity and self-respect.’

In the 2079 election, Tamalopa got 2 thousand 585 votes proportionally.
