19 Chait, Butwal. The bus operators have demanded the federal government to renew the bus committees as per the order of the Supreme Court.

Businessmen complain that the Supreme Court ordered the renewal in accordance with the Registration of Institutions Act 2034 on 20 March 2080, but the government made various excuses and caused problems by not renewing them.

West Nepal Bus Business Pvt Ltd held a press conference in Butwal and demanded that the organizations/organizations related to transport registered and operating in accordance with the Organization Registration Act 2034 should be renewed immediately as per the order of the Supreme Court.

The joint bench of the then Supreme Court judges Sapna Pradhan Malla and Balkrishna Dhakal ordered the renewal of the case filed by the Koshi Bus Business Association as per the Registration of Institutions Act 2034. Dadhiram Kharel, Chairman of the Pvt. Ltd., argued that the order made in the case of the Koshi Bus Business Association will also apply to bus committees of the same nature across the country.

“Since the court ruled that the bus committees were operating in accordance with the Social Organization Registration Act, the order should be implemented by the current government,” President Kharel said. .’

Chairman Kharel drew the attention of the government to maintain the scientific rental rate accordingly as the price of vehicle chassis, body, spare parts, tires and other fuel has increased significantly.

At present, due to uncontrolled importation of passenger vehicles, existing vehicles are being displaced. On the one hand, there is an unnecessary foreignization of domestic capital and on the other hand, the business of purely domestic businessmen who have already invested in the country will be destroyed. Therefore, the import of public passenger vehicles according to the demand of passengers has been demanded from the government.
