Delhi defeated Lucknow by 6 wickets in the match on Wednesday. Lucknow completed the target of 142 runs given by Delhi 17 balls ahead. Rizvi hit a six when 3 runs were needed.

Sameer scored an unbeaten 70 off 47 balls while Stubbs remained unbeaten on 39 off 32 balls. With the loss of 4 wickets for 26 runs, Sameer and Stubbs shared a partnership of 119 runs for Delhi.

While chasing the target, Delhi came under pressure from the start. When opener KL Rahul was dismissed in the first ball, Pathum Nissanka was dismissed for 1, Nitish Rana for 15 and captain Akshar Patel was dismissed for zero. Delhi reached 26-4. Delhi did not lose a wicket after that.
