According to experts, autism is a condition in which a person behaves differently from normal people. Speaking and thinking styles are different.
This day has been celebrated since 2007 at the call of the United Nations, emphasizing the need to ensure the dignity, rights and equal participation of people with autism in society.
The United Nations has requested member states to celebrate this day this year to convey the message of respecting the contribution and rights of every person with autism.
On this occasion, issuing a message today, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has emphasized the need to ensure the equal participation of people with autism in society while promoting the full implementation of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
