21 Chait, Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has released the list of central representatives to be deployed in all 77 districts to advance the process of the 15th Congress.

The Congress had an interaction with the central representatives who will be deployed in the district from next Baisakh on Saturday at Sanepa.

General Minister Pradeep Paudel has informed that the central representatives will stay in the district throughout the month of Baisakh and organize the membership distribution campaign, update the old membership, implement the provisions prescribed by the law for distribution of new membership and fulfill other responsibilities.

For the convention, the Congress has made a schedule for distribution and updating of active membership from wards across the country from May 1 to mid-March. Congress is conducting a month-long membership update campaign for membership updates.

After a one-month membership update campaign, the wards should send the active membership to the representative assembly area and district by June 15. Similarly, regions and districts have to ‘enter’ the membership and send it to the center by 25th January.

The center has fixed the date for the final decision after conducting necessary investigation on the membership for 15 June. Similarly, there is a schedule of the Congress to submit the list of updated active members to the Central Election Committee by the end of June.

After the House of Representatives election, the Central Working Committee meeting held on March 10-11 passed the agenda for the 15th Congress to be completed on October 16-19.

According to the schedule, membership forms will be sent from the center to the ward level from March 21 to mid-March and representatives will be assigned to all 165 constituencies for membership distribution.
