25 March, Kathmandu. It has been found that the Director General of Civil Aviation Authority (CAN) Pradeep Adhikari (currently suspended and in jail) plans to topple the interim government led by Sushil Karki and form another government.

It has been revealed through technical investigation that the official who arrived in Dubai with the plan to form a new government said this in a WhatsApp conversation because the Karki government will not do their job.

It can be seen in the dialogue that the official who is under investigation for money laundering, killing industry and organized crime has also said that he will become the Minister of Tourism in the new government that will be formed after the Karki-led government is overthrown.

This is confirmed by the conversation he had with Can’s employee Chandmala Shrestha on WhatsApp on 16 November. “It is true that our prime minister will come this week, the current prime minister will leave, that the DG of CAN is going to overthrow the government, that’s why he came to Dubai, that Lukla is true,” it was found in the WhatsApp chat.

The Abuse of Authority Investigation was investigating corruption offenses against officials. But since there is no situation to settle the issue by influencing the authorities from anywhere, it is confirmed from this conversation that the authorities are planning to change the government.

It has been revealed through the technical investigation that the officer who used intermediaries to settle the case of the authority, threatened to kill him when that was not possible, and imposed tantrics, did various other suspicious activities.

Ship Technical Landing

While investigating the officer, it has been found that there was a conversation to the point of asking the ship to make a technical landing. It has been found in the WhatsApp chat that the attempt was made to irregularize the amount by making a technical landing.

It seems that there was a conversation between the officer and his friend Arjun Kumar Khadka, who lives in America, on 5 October 2025 on WhatsApp. Where two aircraft registered in Africa have been discussed about technical landing at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Heavy suitcases of 30-40

The official said that Jenu took a heavy suitcase of 30-40. Pradeep said this in a WhatsApp chat with his wife. Although he said that he had been threatened, he had not filed a complaint about it. According to the investigating officers, the logic of letting another person keep 30,000-40,000 in a suitcase does not match.

Not only this, the officer also asked Jenu Thapa to change his mobile phone. It has been found that the old mobile set has been removed and a new set and number has been installed. This is also confirmed by the WhatsApp chat of 2nd December.

From all these incidents, it seems that Jenu is well aware of the financial irregularities of the officer.

The officer was preparing to hide in the apartment

The officer, who was living in his house in Satdobato area, was recently seen trying to hide in the apartment because he could be arrested at any moment. It has been revealed that he ordered the renovation of the apartment to be completed quickly for that.

‘That apartment is not late and the work has not started,’ it is seen in the conversation between the officer and Jenu, ‘to keep everything in a ready-to-go condition. Sometimes, sometimes it should be done.’

The police have interpreted this as an attempt to escape, hide and hide the evidence. On the other hand, the officer said in his statement that he was going to move after he was about to be physically attacked.

On September 26, there was a conversation on WhatsApp between Can’s employee Chandmala Shrestha and the officer. ‘Excro accounting money put in? 25th is the dateline.. but 2-3 days off, I told you to spend today… 99 crores,’ is found in the WhatsApp conversation chat.

According to the police, this conversation seems to be trying to do business through non-banking channels. But the official said that this is the business of the office. According to the agreement between the Government of Nepal, Exim Bank of China and CAN, there is a dialogue regarding the loan, loan and interest payment of Pokhara Airport.
