19 Chait, Kathmandu. Former minister Sudan Kirati, a member of the Presidential Council of the Progressive Democratic Party (PRALOPA), has resigned.
He submitted his resignation letter at the meeting of the President’s Council held on Wednesday.
Pralopa sources have confirmed that Kirati, a member of the President’s Council, has resigned from the position. However, sources say that his resignation has not been accepted.
After the then CPN Maoist Center united with the parties including the CPN United Socialists, Kirati left the party and went into exile.
