19 Chait, Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala commented that Congress and UML are in a strange dispute. Speaking at the launch ceremony of Kamal Koirala’s memorial book on Thursday, Leader Koirala expressed his suspicion that Shaktikendra had a role in that dispute.

“At present, there is a strange problem within both parties, Congress and UML,” leader Koirala said. There is a dispute between the two parties, it should be accepted.’ He said that the situation would be very bad if the party could not be united and moved forward.

‘We have to think now. If we can go together, we will survive, if not, we will end up in a difficult situation. There is no doubt about it,’ said Koirala.

He said that the Congress is trying to settle the dispute. He also complains that he is facing a lot of difficulties when he takes a moderate view on the Congress dispute. ‘Any person who is moderate, it is difficult for him to work. It will be difficult,’ he said.

He also said that the current situation is not only difficult for the Congress-UML but also uncomfortable for all the old parties. He further said, ‘Now let us understand that the political situation or the situation of the country is unfavorable to the Nepali Congress, UML, Maoists or other parties.’
