26 Chait, Kathmandu. The National Independent Party has recommended to the Prime Minister to remove Labor, Employment and Social Security Minister Deepak Kumar Shah from the post.

Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has written a letter to Prime Minister Balen Shah asking him to remove Shah from his duties.

“Article 25(4) (a) of the party’s constitution states that the party president has been entrusted with the responsibility to avoid harming the ideals, principles and dignity of the party, and in case of abuse of office, there is a provision in article 69 of the constitution that the party can recall him from responsibility, and I recommend that the minister of health and population be alerted to Nisha Mehta as he is not taking his responsibilities seriously in such a serious matter,” said Lamichhan in the recommendation letter written to Balen.

RSVP has said that it has been found that Minister Sah misused his position and made his wife a regular member of the Health Insurance Board, which has been kept inactive for a long time.

It is mentioned in Lamichhane’s letter to the Prime Minister that the party’s disciplinary commission also found that the minister had acted against the dignity of office.
