27 Chait, Kathmandu. The jerseys worn by the Nepalese national men’s and women’s hockey teams have been released.

In an event organized by Nepal Hockey Association at Roel Tulip Hotel on Friday, Ram Charitra Mehta, member of the National Sports Council, and Anil Prasad Sharma, president of Nepal Hockey Association, jointly unveiled the jersey of the hockey team.

The hockey association has released red jerseys for the men’s team and pink jerseys for the women’s team.

Speaking at the Jersey public event, Rahep Member Secretary Mehta praised the work of the Hockey Association and expressed his belief that it will help popularize the game of hockey.

Mehta said that Rakhep has been providing all possible support for the development of hockey and building infrastructure. Similarly, Secretary General of Nepal Hockey Association Suvarna Shrestha said that the Hockey Association has made a new start by announcing the jersey of the national team and in the future it will send a good message about the game of hockey.

She informed that she plans to find a sponsor for the jersey in the coming days.

Also, the hockey association has released the list of 26-26 players for the women’s and men’s national teams on Friday.

General Secretary Shrestha informed that the hockey association has selected the national team based on their performance in the national hockey tournament held in Kathmandu last February.
