22 Chait, Hetaunda. Muktakakar Karna Bahadur Khatri of District Rukum West of Karnali Province has been awarded ‘Shiva-Savitri Adhikari Muktakasamman 2082’ in Makwanpur.

On the occasion of the 325th literary series of the Jharna Literary Family, the ‘Shiva-Savitri Adhikari Muktaka Samman-2082 Khatri’ with 15,555 Rashi established by the writer Ramesh Mohan Adhikari in memory of his parents was awarded.

Along with the 325th Literary Series, Jharna has also completed the 32nd Muktaka Evening. In the program, a muktaka reading competition was organized among the students selected from the students studying from classes 9 to 12 of different schools in Makwanpur.

Sumina Dahal, a student of Buddha Mavi Hattisunde, became the best in the competition with the best nine students participating. Jharna Secretary Neelhari Dhungel informed that he was given the ‘Shiva-Savitri Adhikari Smriti Muktak Navapratibha Puraskar’ established by the writer Ramesh Mohan Adhikari himself with an amount of Rs 5,555.

Devaraj Kharel, Anish Neupane ‘Bhavna’, DB Bertaula, Ram Karki, Deepak Gautam, Birkhe Anjan, Rajbabu Pahadi, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, SR Manjari Oli, Sumi Thing and others who published single muktak works were honored with appreciation certificates. All the respected muktaks recited their muktaks.

Jharna Joint Secretary Amrita Lamichhane conducted the programme, Vice President Krishna Ghatani delivered the welcome speech and President Gayatri Rupakheti presided over the event. The chief guest of the program was Muktakakar Ramesh Samort.
