19 Chait, Kathmandu. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has appointed chief administrative officers in 78 rural villages.

The ministry has decided on Thursday to appoint Nepal Administration Service, General Administration Group, Gazetted Officers, Branch Officers or similar employees to the vacant posts.

Most of those who were assigned to the responsibility were working in various ministries. With the formation of the new government, Minister Pratibha Rawal has started sending chief administrative officers to the vacant positions. Earlier, 63 chief administrative officers have been assigned to coordination committees and municipalities in various districts.
