18 Chait, Siraha. The national financial calculation is going to start from the next 2 Baisakh in Siraha. The information was made public through the district level awareness conference.

According to Chief Statistics Officer Bimal Yadav, the financial calculation will be conducted from 2nd May to 7th June.

During this period, a detailed description of all units related to economic activities across the district – establishments and businesses will be collected.

During the calculation, the address, registration and ownership status of businesses, period of operation, major economic activities, employment status, type of business, investment, access to credit, insurance and other topics will be covered.

It is said that 18 types of economic activities will be covered, including stone, sand and mineral mining, small and large industries, construction, electricity production and distribution, drinking water and irrigation, waste management, hotels and lodges, transportation, information and communication, wholesale and retail trade, banks and financial institutions, real estate transactions, educational and health institutions.

According to Yadav, there are preparations to mobilize 60 enumerators in the district.
