22 Chait, Kathmandu. District Court Kathmandu has issued an order to keep Lumbini State Assembly member Rekha Sharma out of custody and proceed with further investigation.

He was arrested by the police for crimes related to children.

He was accused of keeping a girl at home and making her do child labour.

The file prepared in the district attorney’s office, Kathmandu, including the opinion that Sharma should not be prosecuted, reached the attorney general’s office through the office of the senior public prosecutor.

Since it has already been decided that the case should not be prosecuted, the judge of District Court Kathmandu, Jagat Bahadur Paudel, has issued an order to release him from custody and investigate the case.
