27 Chait, Kathmandu. CG Hospitality under the commercial house Gharana Chaudhary Group laid the foundation stone of the famous luxury heritage ‘Summit Hotel’ on Thursday with the aim of developing Gorkha as an international level luxury tourism destination.

According to CG Hospitality, this project, inspired by the famous ‘Summit Hotel’ in Kathmandu Valley, will be developed as a luxury resort with modern facilities and Nepali originality.

According to CG Hospitality, this project to be built in Gorkha will give a new look to the legacy of the historic Summit Hotel in Lalitpur, established in 1978, and will provide Nepali originality as well as modern facilities.

This project, spread over an area of ​​about 30 plantations, is expected to be completed within two years. The room rate of this hotel, which has 30 luxury rooms, will be around 500 US dollars.

Summit Hotel will provide quality service targeting tourists from Nepal and abroad.

According to CG Hospitality, the main objective of this project is to connect Gorkha to the circuit of major luxury tourism destinations in Nepal.

This project, which will be built near the historically and culturally important Gorkha Palace, is expected to promote the history, originality and culture of Nepal at the international level. Gorkha is the place from where Prithvi Narayan Shah unified the state of Nepal and built modern Nepal.

According to Rahul Chaudhary, Managing Director and Executive Officer of CG Hospitality Global, this project is another important step of Chaudhary Group’s continuous trust and commitment in Nepal’s tourism sector.

“Gorkha is a very important area with the history of Nepal, it is our effort to present the history, culture and originality of Nepal and the legacy of Summit Hotel to the whole of Nepal and the world. Chaudhary Group will always play a supportive role in the government’s goal of strengthening Nepal’s economy through tourism,” he said.

The Summit Hotel is expected to create jobs in the Gorkha region, strengthen the local economy and attract new investments. It is also believed to accelerate regional development through tourism.

Just a few days ago, Chaudhary Group in partnership with the world-famous hotel Marriott International laid the foundation stone of the prestigious luxury brand ‘The Ritz-Carlton’ hotel in Thamel, a major tourist center of Kathmandu.
