22 Chait, Kathmandu. Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

President Ramchandra Poudel administered the oath to Speaker Aryal in a ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas. After that, he will reach the office today and take office.

Arjun Narsingh KC, a senior member of the House of Representatives meeting today, formally announced that Aryal was elected unopposed as Speaker.

He was elected unopposed because only Aryal’s nomination was registered on the day of nomination registration last Friday.
