19 Kathmandu. Elections are being held today for the selection of new leadership in the 13th Congress of the Federation of Nepal Construction Professionals. The election is being held at Pragya Bhawan Kamaladi.

Kalika Construction Director Nicholas Pandey and PS Construction Managing Director Ang Dorjee (AD) Lama are competing for the post of Chairman. They have entered the competition with the panel.

The nominations of Roshan Dahal for Senior Vice President, NP Sherpa for Associate Vice President, Shivhari Ghimire for General Secretary and Balaji Shrestha for Treasurer have been registered from Lama group.

Similarly, from Pandey Group, Mukesh Pant as Senior Vice President, Dhirendra Dahal as General Secretary and Ujjwal Gautam as Treasurer have nominated.

Pramod Lamichhane has independently submitted his candidature for the post of Deputy Secretary General.

A new 51-member working committee will be elected from the convention for the next three years.

Sahdev Khadka unopposed for Central Vice President from Lumbini

Sahdev Khadka has been unopposed for the post of Central Vice President from Lumbini Province in the ongoing convention of Nepal Construction Professionals Federation.

Khadka Nicholas Pandey, owner of Sagun Construction, is part of the panel.

Khadka’s single candidacy for the central vice-president from Lumbini was announced in the nomination registration program yesterday.

Khadka was busy preparing for the election by making the protection of the rights and interests of the construction professionals, the guarantee of professional safety and the creation of a business-friendly environment as his main agenda.
