28 March, Kathmandu. The Nepal Cricket Umpire and Scorer Association has objected to the statement made by cricketer Karan KC on social media.

The association issued a statement saying that it has taken serious note of the comment. “Our attention has been drawn to the statement made by the Nepal Police Club and national team player Karan KC on social media regarding the decision of the umpire during the emergency meeting of the association, and we strongly condemn such reprehensible actions,” said the statement issued by the president Mohammad Shafiq.

The association believes that the said comment has hurt the professional security and self-respect of the umpires. The association has also demanded strict action from CAN to discourage such activities.

Earlier, Karan KC commented on the controversial post regarding the decision of the umpire in Troll Cricket Nepal, “What action will be taken if the umpire is hit by mistake?” He had a curious question.

The players have been dissatisfied with the decision made by the umpire in the ongoing PM Cup cricket in Madhesh province.

Although the players protested on the field for some time, this is the first time such an angry expression has come.
