After UML workers demonstrated for a while in Chasal, Amisa also reached the demonstration which was supposed to be held at Maitighar according to the official decision of the party. The demonstration was not peaceful. The police baton-charged. Workers were injured. Some continued the demonstration. Amisa was part of that crowd.

However, some of them were also showing chaotic behavior in the demonstration, which Amisa herself argued was not a good style. While performing at the funeral home, one person tried to get feedback from him. The camera caught her arguing using her democratic rights. The post went viral on social media.

Amisa, who spoke to the media in the afternoon, had nothing to worry about until she returned home. But she was not on the public radar in Chasal in the morning and she became the target of most people. When I got home and opened Instagram, there was a pile of mansions.

However, Amisa’s thinking was not going to make a difference to social media users. The comments that started coming in were not just disagreements towards him. She was forced to face the attack, not the answer to the argument. Threats of sexual violence made it even more difficult for him.

In this way, comments that are uncomfortable for ordinary people to read and see are dug on Amisa. Comments like ‘It should be like Nirmala Pant and Inisha Vick’ makes it even worse. Amisa had a ‘breakdown’ the night she became viral. She deactivated Instagram that same night.

Amisa was not able to go out. She could not go to the next demonstration of UML. Due to her opinions, she was rejected by the public. Not only contempt, most of them gave threats, which made them even more worried. Even now she can’t get out easily. Can’t pick up calls from unknown numbers.

Even when we met for a chat, Amisa came with her family members. But now there is a risk for her to disclose family members and other general details, which she expressed during the conversation.

‘If a person can comment that he will rape, that has already entered his mind,’ Amisa said, ‘If he has entered his mind, he can actually do it. That fear pressed me.’

Due to the same fear, she wears a mask even today. The family does not dare to send him alone from home. A call from an unknown number will not be returned until a ‘text message’ is received. All these are Amisa’s latest daily life.

She was persecuted on social media, and her relatives added to it. From the next day, relatives’ phones started ringing. That call was not for sympathy, but rather to ask a question. Some questioned the mother’s upbringing. That moment was a double whammy for Amisa. Threats of rape from outside, questions like ‘why are you talking’ from inside.

‘At that time my morale was even worse,’ Amisa remembered that moment.

His mother, who came with Amisa, was also interested in politics from an early age. My grandfather, who passed away only a year ago, was also a follower of Male at that time. He used to teach his granddaughter about democracy, republic and nationalism. ‘He used to tell me not to be afraid to take to the streets if I felt injustice,’ she said, ‘he taught me what rebellion is.’

Even mother never said which party is better. Instead, she taught us to distinguish between right and wrong. Therefore, even now, because of her daughter’s opinion, she feels that the society is going in the wrong direction because of such threats. She said that this situation is an indicator of an unhealthy society because of her daughter’s speech.

Amisa said, ‘But today the person who says he will rape me is walking around openly. No one cares about this. If something happens tomorrow, these same people will come out again to light candles for me. This is Hippocracy.’

Amisa’s mother, who did not want to reveal her name, told Online Khabar, ‘My daughter did not go to deceive anyone. She didn’t do anything wrong. So he or we have nothing to be ashamed of. Rather, shame should be on those who make such comments, not on my daughter.’

Amisa has been supporting KP Oli for two-and-a-half years. National issues like Kalapani-Lipulek attracted him to Oli as a leader. She met Oli for the first time when she was 16 years old. Amisa remembers that Oli taught ‘patriotism, nationalism’ at that time.

However, now she is the one who has said that there is injustice against Oli and she is being threatened. In spite of this, he remembers that some people gave him healthy criticism. Some have argued over the issue saying ‘unnecessary propaganda of the party’. Some have questioned his presence. But Amisa considers such healthy criticism natural.

‘It would be good if the opposition disagreed like this. I read and learn criticism. Sometimes I am ready to tell the truth even if I have made a mistake,’ said Amisa, ‘but my opposition is on one thing – logic should be answered with logic. Not by threats of sexual violence.’

At the same time, her question is, ‘What would have happened if there had been a man in my place? What would happen if the same argument and expression came from a man?’

The answer is with Amisa herself, ‘You should not have faced threats like you did. Even if it is a troll/meme, this level of threat should not have been met.

However, on that day, most of the people who responded to the UML demonstration were men. But all of them were overwhelmed by Amisa’s reaction. Therefore, he believes that this attack was due to the fact that she was a woman.

‘What kind of society is this, when a woman speaks, when a man speaks, he argues on logic or makes a normal troll/meme, what kind of society is this?’, asks Amisa.

The saddest part was that she found the profile of the person who had threatened to rape, ‘Justice for Nirmala Pant/Inisa Wick’ written on it. Some of them kept photos of their three-four-year-old daughter’s birthday. After seeing that, she got to know closely about Hippocracy, which she has been reading about in books till today.

When a person in a public position made such comments, it made me worry about what kind of dangerous society he was in.

‘Until a woman is raped and dies, this society and this system will not speak. Nirmala Pant died – soon the house was full. Inisha went – people came out to light the candles,’ said Amisa, ‘but today the person who is going to rape me is walking freely. No one cares about this. If something happens tomorrow, these same people will come out again to light candles for me. This is Hippocracy.’

So far, fake Tik Tok accounts have been created in Amisa’s name. She has also found that people live from the account that has gathered thousands of followers. IDs are made as ‘Amisa Parajuli Official’. Those who open fake IDs are sitting on Tiktok Live and taking gifts. Such IDs that have been opened in his name all over the social media are causing unnecessary grief.

Whereas, Amisa herself is unable to bear it and has kept all her accounts private. He is not in a state of mind to open any platform easily. Not only that, he also has a complaint with the media. There is concern that some people are raising his byte unnecessarily and bringing it into controversy. He thinks that even if the media was aware at least, these things could have been controlled to some extent.

However, Amisa is not going to get tired of such attacks. She is fighting through the Cyber ​​Bureau. All screen shots, IDs, comments have been collected. Even if a relative or someone stops him, he is not in the ‘mood’ to stop. He says that a legal battle should be fought on such issues.

He also demanded that the Cyber ​​Bureau should be automatically activated when such matters come up. She gives an example, ‘When a mother takes a slap at home, the children do not speak, tomorrow the day will come when they will have to endure a beating. If the relevant stakeholders are spoken to in one fell swoop, the kick will not be raised tomorrow. That’s why he said now that tomorrow others will not have to suffer such abuse.’

Stating that she will speak more strongly for such abuses and women’s rights throughout her life, Amisa added, ‘Now every woman should stand in her mother’s house with a photo and screen shot of those who make such comments. Those who defame us should do the same. I will come stronger for this.’
