Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal has honored the election police who did an excellent job in completing the House of Representatives elections held on February 21, the community disaster volunteers and disaster indicators who coordinated with the Nepal Armed Police Force during the disaster and assisted in disaster rescue.

On 22nd of Chaitra Armed Police Force Nepal No. 7 Baidyanath Bahini Headquarters Kailali on the occasion of 25th anniversary, Inspector General Aryal honored them, said Bishna Bhatt, DIG of Armed Forces and Spokesperson.

During the election period, the election police, who did excellent work, were stationed at Virendra Secondary School Sailek polling station located in Dasharathchandra Nagarpalika-4 of Baitadi district and assisted in carrying the disabled and the elderly to the polling station.

Similarly, the disaster volunteers played an important role in taking the citizens who were in danger to a safe place without risking their lives.

In addition to informing the armed police in various cases of disaster, the disaster indicator helped in the rescue work by himself.

Armed Police Force Nepal has prepared community disaster volunteers by providing disaster volunteer training to 1,114 people across the country with the intention of assisting in rescue operations from the community level during disasters.

Similarly, the Armed Police Force of Nepal has prepared a disaster indicator group of 25 people in each ward. According to which, 168 thousand 575 people have prepared disaster indicators at the rate of 25 people in 6 thousand 745 wards across the country.
