19 Chait, Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 15 per liter.
The Oil Corporation has informed that the price increase will be effective from the morning of 20th Chait (currently midnight).
According to the newly increased price, now the price of petrol in the third category ie Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal has reached 202 rupees per liter. Earlier it was Rs.187. In these three places, earlier the price of diesel and kerosene was Rs 167 a liter, but now it has reached Rs 182.
Similarly, in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj, which are under the first category, the price of petrol has increased to Rs 199 and 50 paisa per liter, while the price of diesel/kerosene oil has increased to Rs 179 and 50 paisa per liter.
Similarly, in Surkhet and Dang, which are in the second category, the price of petrol was Rs 186 per liter earlier, but now it has increased to Rs 201. Similarly, the price of diesel/kerosene has increased to Rs 181 per liter from Rs 166 per litre.
