18 Chait, Kathmandu. Golcha Group, a prestigious industrial and commercial house of Nepal, has provided five crore rupees financial support to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH).

The group said that the financial assistance was provided with the aim of assisting in the management of easy treatment and effective health services for children during a program on Wednesday. Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Group President Shekhar Golcha and Kioch Founder President Prof. Dr. An agreement of financial support has been made between Lord Koirala.

Handing over the financial support, Golchha, the chairman of the group, said that he was proud to join this campaign to build children’s hospitals in all seven provinces. “We are happy that the cooperation with Kioch has started as part of the social responsibility carried out by our foundation and this cooperation will continue in the future, besides this, we believe that the easy treatment of children and quality health services will be more effective through the children’s hospital,” he said.

Likewise, Koirala, the founding president of Kioch, expressed his gratitude to Golcha Group for their support and assistance. “Thousands of children will receive quality health care through this support and it will help in the construction of children’s hospitals in all seven provinces,” he said.

Under the master plan to build children’s hospitals in all seven provinces, hospitals are currently operating in Damak in Koshi province and Kathmandu in Bagmati province. Kioch was established with the aim of providing high quality healthcare services to children across the country.
